Day 1: A Wine-day in Monferrato

  • Lunch in a local “Agriturismo”.

  • Sightseeing of the Romanesque Santa Maria di Vezzolano Abbey.

  • Late afternoon visit of the old cellars and annexed Barbera Museum at “Castello di Razzano Rélais” in Alfiano Natta.

  • Back to your hôtel for relax.

  • Dinner at local restaurant

    DAY 2: A visit of Asti’s historic centre and the white truffle hunt
     
  • Breakfast in hôtel.
    •  
  • Sightseeing of the historic quarters of Asti.

  • Family-style light lunch at Luigi Castino’s Cellars in the nearby village of Mombercelli.

    DAY 3: A The legendary vines of Barolo and Barbaresco
     
  • Breakfast in hôtel.

  • Drive through Barolo hills to Slow Food’s “Università del Gusto” in Pollenzo: visit and tasting in the Bank of Wine.

  • Lunch in the small village of Mango at “Trattoria del Campo”.
    •  
  • Cellars’ sightseeing and wine-tasting at Marchesi di Grésy Estate in Barbaresco.
    •  
  • Back to your hôtel for relax.
    •  
  • Farewell lunch at Paolo’s home: good food and fun!
